Just a Gnote!

Hello! Today I am here with my card that I created for the brand spankin' new challenge over on the Peachy Keen Challenge Blog . This weeks challenge is Just Cards: Faux Stitching! I used a marker around my green chevron piece, and also gathered my ribbon for a different kind of stitching. For the gathering I used glue dots to hold my ribbon in place. This card was made using the March Peachy Picks Kit Club and the March released Gnomegrown  stamps .

Home and Hearts

Hello! You may not believe it, but I have been making lots of projects lately, just most of them have been for upcoming team projects. ;)  Since I haven't been doing much for myself I though I would jump on the chance to join in on the newest  CAS-ual Friday challenge. For this one they want you to use: 1. A Pattern 2. An Image 3. A Sentiment  InLinkz.com

Happy St. Patrick's Day!

So who out there happens to be singing a song and dancing a jig today? Are you wearing green too? We don't do any particular celebrating of the day, besides maybe the hubbers having a green beer, but I sure do like making things for it! Today's challenge over at the 365 Cards blog is: Shamrockin' It Fro St. Patty's Day let's go green and add a shamrock shape to your card. If you don't have a shamrock, heart shapes make a great substitute. And here is my creation: I used the Peachy Keen Stamp's Peachy Picks for February. You can find out more info about the current kit here .  Hope you all enjoy the day!

Welcome to the Neighborhood!

It's time for this month's Paint the Town Challenge from Market Street Stamps! I LOVE this color combination. Make sure to go check out the awesome projects made by the other design team girls. You can also find out all of the info here on how you can join in the fun and possibly even win a great prize! And here is my card that I made: The stamps used are from the Home Sweet Home stamp set that was released last month and the papers are from Teresa Collins' Everyday Moments 6x6 paper pad.

Sweet Sunshine

Today's 365 Cards Challenge is Pretty in Pink: Use at least 3 shades of pink in your card. There are 3 different shades in the base paper, but I also added a pretty pink ribbon flower. {I love making those things out of ribbon and Glubers!} I love that this card is so Springy! It makes me smile, especially since we just received a walloping snow storm last night. I hope you all have a great day! I am going to spend mine at a swim meet and a baby shower.

It's Going to Be Okay!!

It is my day to be featured over on the Market Street Stamps blog . So glad you could join me! So, I have had this idea rolling around in my head for awhile now. As I was making it, it wasn't quite coming out as I was looking for, but I still love the look that it took on. I will be doing this more in the future! First, I took a piece of 5 1/2" x 4 1/4" sheet of white paper and stamped the Vintage Wallpaper background stamp on it. I then cut it down to 5 1/4" x 4" {I sometimes stamp wonky, so I like the idea of cutting it down after I stamp the whole image.} Next, I chose the Distress Ink colors that I wanted to use, and in this case I chose: Milled lavendar, Dusty Concord, Tumbled Glass, Broken China and Chipped Sapphire. Starting with the lightest and ending with the darkest, I slowly blended them together, sometimes skipping areas. {This is working with the Dusty Concord after the Milled Lavender} {This is after the Tumbled Gla
