The challenge for today over at 365 Cards is A Button & a Bow:
Create a card using a button and a bow as the only embellishments.
And here is my take on the card:
The quote is form the Market Street Stamps Believing Butterfly set and the patterned paper is from Authentique's Renew collection.
I am so excited to have a card done, that I actually made without it having to be due for something! Woohoo, yay me!!
We are finally getting back to our normal routine in my house now that The Sickness has left. And that means that I was able to get a chance to go down to my craft room and actually do some crafting!
So I decided to whip out some of my amazing Market Street Stamps and make a card. Here is the product of said whipping:
I used the wonderful images from the oh so talented Kim Geiser's set Love.
Her illustrations are just so fun to play with!
That yummy patterned paper is from Crate Paper's Fourteen collection and the embossing folder is by Lifestyle Crafts Sweetheart set. Not to forget the decorative tape, it's from Bella Blvd.
Hope you had fun looking today!
What a week it has been!! Hope your's has been better than mine! The oldest has had a hacking cough since the beginning of the week, and things just seem to be going down hill from there with fevers and such. Hopefully we can get her seen today and get her some prescribed meds to help her not feel so miserable. That coughing just does not want her to be able to rest!
Well today is another new challenge over on the 365 Cards blog with the prompt being
Skewed: Make it where all of the elements of the card are skewed (not straight).
And here is my example:
The patterned paper is from Crate Paper's Fourteen collection and the bling is from various manufacturers. The stamp sets, Funky Herringbone and Birds of a Feather, are from Market Street Stamps.
Here is a close-up of the Funky Herringbone. I used Versamark Ink and Ranger Fine Detail black embossing powder to make the background of the Polaroid. I then used Tim Holtz Distress Stains and Water Brush to color in the herringbo…
Good morning! Phew, it's been a whole week since I last posted!!
I don't know about you, but my week was certainly filled with a lot. I was busy making some big changes over on the 365 Cards blog, working on some great things coming up for the ladies over at Peachy Keen, went to a bridal shower for one of my best friends from high school, and the normal running around for the family.
But, I am glad to be back today! We have a great challenge over at 365 Cards.
The prompt is Wiggle It!: Create a card with a 3D element that moves.
I chose to use Action Wobbles on pears for my movement. The pears are from the Faceless Fruit set from Peachy Keen Stamps and there is a sneak peek here for a brand new release coming tonight from them. There will be 5 sets in the release, so make sure you check out the site at 8 pm CST!
Good morning! Hope you all are having a wonderful start to your day.
Today is the first Saturday challenge of the new year over at 365 Cards! But before I get to my card, I have some special news! Starting at the beginning of this year I have become co-hostess of the 365 Cards blog along side Pam, who started it all. She has been doing an awesome job and I am just glad to be able to help take over some of the hard work that she does to keep it going. There will be some new and fun things changing and going on throughout this month, so make sure to stop by and let us know how we are doing!!
Now, on to my card! We have a wonderful sponsor this week, DRS Designs. And the prize this week is:
The prompt for today is Back to Nature: create a nature scene, but keep it clean and simple.
The stamps I used for this card are the Valentine Tree and One Line Valentine Greeting.
