Happy Halloween!

Hello everyone! What a great day it is. We are all ready for the evening of trick or treating over here. We do have one big pumpkin that isn't feeling well. She is even hanging up her costume for the evening, or so she says. It turned out to be a beautiful day, but a little breezy. I am taking off for the week to go scrapbooking with some friends 900 miles away. I am going to try to post projects that I am working on from the road, but don't get too upset if I am a big slacker ;). I will leave you with a layout that I made with the Little Yellow Bicycle line Booville. It was one of my favorite Halloween lines this years. This is a picture from 2004 trick or treating. Have a wonderful evening everyone!! (And no, I did not use the fraying scissors from Martha, I did them all individually!)

Robo Star!

Here is a new card that I made using Market Street Stamps . I am having so much fun with these robots! The saying is from the Ain't No Sunshine set and of course the robot is Robo Star . The patterned paper that I used is from October Afternoon. I am working on a bunch of other ideas that I can't wait to share. Also working on a couple of Christmas projects. Stay tuned! Monday I will have a chance for you to win some fun little goodies, so keep your eyes peeled!

Pumpkin Patch

So, the weekend was chalked full of stuff to do. Not that this should be a surprise, I know. But on Sunday, my sister and I took our kids to the Little Farmer. We rode a hayride, the kids played on the hay bale tunnels, we had fresh caramel apples, and we walked through a corn maze. At the end we were all ready for a nap. Unfortunately, I had to drive so I didn't get to have one, but the rest of the fam took advantage of the 45 minute drive. Here are a few the pictures that I took. I LOVE fall!

Follow Your Heart

Here is another card I made using Market Street Stamps . I absolutely love how it turned out, and so far it is my fave of all. This was made using the Follow Your Heart stamp set. Can't wait to see what else she will come up with! Tomorrow I will share a couple pictures that I took yesterday at the pumpkin patch.

Como Un Tamal

Another card for you using Market Street Stamps ! Off to the apple orchard and pumpkin patch with the girls and my sister and nephew.

Another Market Street Stamps Card

Here is another card I made using Market Street Stamps ! I am totally in love with Robo Love!!

Super Exciting News!

One of my great friends, Angelica , has just opened up her very own online stamp shop! It is called Market Street Stamps and she has designed the most amazing stamps!! You have got to go check it out! They are made out of a high quality photopolymer (which is clear), but they stamp just like a red rubber! How great is that? But, not only has she opened up this awesome store, she has also asked me, little ol' me, to be on her design team!! (Now can you understand why I have been overusing the exclamation marks?) I will be posting a couple of cards that I have made for her over the next few days. Hope you enjoy!

Family Love Layout

Here is one of the layouts that I did for my Basic Layout Class this week. I tried to make it super simple, but still pretty. I used an older paper line from Sassafras Lass. I think it was called Life is Beautiful. I also used a mini kraft bag from Scrap Within Reach and a piece of paper from Kaisercraft, but can't remember the name for it (I used it for the title.) I may end up adding some flowers to it if I can find the right paper to go with. It is very hard for us to family picture where everyone is acting "normal", but this was the closest I could get. And, of course, the girls are pro posers, so getting ones of them without goofy faces is almost impossible! ;)

The New Boo

I have recreated my Boo project. It was really getting on my nerves that it wasn't as stable as I would have liked, so remade it using the wooden blocks. (And of course making another Halloween decoration never bothers me!) I like this one a lot more, though I don't have the stamping and stickles that I have on the other one. Let me know which one you prefer.

I Smell Change in the Air

Not only is the fall air one of the best smells around, but also the air of change. Coming soon, I will be trying some fun new things. Nothing I can can share yet, but I will be able to let you in soon! I have so many projects that are swirling around in my head that I need to have the time to make them. Lately, I have been sketching them down and making little notes next to the sketches. Unfortunately, I am a horrible drawer, so I have some problems deciphering them sometimes. What methods do you have to work your projects out, or even remember them? (I am also really bad at remembering things!)

OMG!!

I know it has been a while! I have had a busy couple weeks, but i am back. Here is a card I made using the wonderful Peachy Keen Stamps , BoBunny paper, and Copic markers. I think I am finally getting a hang of these markers, but I keep practicing. I also used an Impression Obsession shaker card pouch for the first time. I tore off a piece of tissue paper to line the inside of the pouch and then put a little glitter inside also. I was trying to go for the crystal ball effect. Let me know whether you think I achieved it or not!
