Autumn Greetings

Just thought I would share a quick and simple card made with the Peachy Keen September Stamp of the Month and Peachy Picks kit. Love working with these so much!!

One Sweet Robot

It's challenge time again over at 365 Cards ! Today's prompt is Twinchies: Add at least four twinchies to your card. Don't quite know what a twinchie is?  Neither did I at first, so I Googled it, and basically it is a small piece of art that is 2" x 2". Preferably made with scraps, but can also have fiber on them or be hand drawn. What I ended up doing was printing out my fabulous digi stamp from our Sponsor this week, Paper Pretties , onto Xpress It Paper, colored the image in with my Copics, and cut the image into 4 2" x 2" pieces. I then took some scraps from a past Peachy Picks kit and circle punched them, then added them to the upper corner of one of the twinchies. I may not have followed the Twinchies rule to a T, but I thought it turned out pretty well! I can't wait to see what you end up making for this challenge, just be sure to link it up over at the 365 Cards blog . Have a great Saturday!!!

Bee Happy!

Happy Saturday to you all! I am here once again with the Saturday challenge from 365 cards . Today's prompt is Teeny Tiny. Use three "teeny tiny" items on your card. All of the products I used on my card are from the Follow Your Heart collection from My Mind's Eye. Hope you all have a great weekend! I am off to another swim meet for the big one!!

A Fond Farewell!

Good morning friends, and welcome to Angelica's Fond Farewell Blog Hop. Angelica Suarez has served as the Design Team/Marketing coordinator for Peachy Keen Stamps, for the past three years, and as many of you may have read from her post here a few days ago, she has made the difficult decision to leave her position here at Peachy Keen for a new and exciting opportunity in the printing industry, which is near and dear to her heart. It's a bittersweet celebration for us, as we are sad to see her go, but we know that she will be a tremendous success in this new venture, and we couldn't be happier for her. It is for this reason that those of us who have had been blessed to work with Angelica have come together to bid her a fond farewell and share some special creations that we have made to let her know how much she means to us, how much we have enjoyed working with her, how much we are going to miss her and that we wish her all the best. We are thrilled that you coul

Quite Batty!

Good morning! I hope you are all having a wonderful weekend so far!! We have been busy {as usual} with multiple swim meets and a wedding going on. You would think that I would be used to the hectic nature of the school year by now, but I swear activities double each year. I know the old blog here has been quite neglected lately, so I have something special in the works coming up soon to make up for it. I swear you are all not far from my mind!! Okay, well on to my card for today. Of course it is Saturday, so that means another brand new challenge over at the 365 Cards blog . The prompt for you to try your hand at today is DIY: Create your own paper clip or stick pin embellishment. I chose to go with the paper clip 'cause I tend to use stick pins quite often. I took a regular old paper clip and added some beads to it. {I used black and grey to coordinate with the rest of the card.} To make sure that the beads stayed where they were supposed to, I used crimp beads

Trick or Treat!

Well, it's that time of year again! The one where everything turns spooky and scary and sometimes just a little bit cute. Halloween Time!! Yes I know that it is only the first of September, but the Halloween decorations have been out in some of the stores already, and if you love the holiday like I do, you have already been making cards, pages, decorations and pretty much anything you can stick that product to. Today is no exception, and my card for today's 365 Cards challenge goes along with my obsession. The prompt today is Mirror Image. DRS Designs is our wonderful sponsor again this week. I was able to use their awesome Trick or Treat Squares stamp for the card. I stamped the image on white cardstock and colored it in. Then stamped it again on vellum, colored it in and then flipped it over and upside down to achieve the mirror image. I thought that the new Doodlebug Haunted Manor line went perfectly with it.
