Hello, everyone! I hope you are all enjoying your holidays. We are having a wonderful time here.  Just wanted to quickly post the winner for the final week of my Holiday Spirit Giveaway. The winner will receive the Peachy Keen Snow  Face Cuties Assortment stamp set. Sorry this is coming late, but we have been busy, as I am sure you all are as well. The winner picked from random.org is:                                              Jeanine Jeanine, congratulations and I will be emailing you shortly for your address!

Twas the Night Before...

I just wanted to pop in and wish everyone a Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays! Here is my Christmas card this year. Tried to keep it pretty simple. Used a decorative scissors for the edge, a Tim Holtz Santa and Believe stamp, Copic markers, Distress Ink, and Distress Stickles. Hope you enjoy!!

Busy, Busy!

I have been beyond busy this week, and I cannot yet see the light at the end of the tunnel. I have cleaning, baking and crafting yet to get done, all before this weekend. We have my family coming to our house on Friday. I love to host, but at the same time, I know I over stress myself with things. Yay, for the holidays!! ;) Anyways, here are some of the things that I have been working on. Mostly baking, but there were a few crafty things in there, including this card using a Market Street stamp . I used the Computer Cutie set for this card, along with some My Mind's Eye paper. This little computer is completely adorable! The girls did the decorating, while I did the baking. Brianna usually gets bored pretty fast when decorating, while Abby can go all day until she can no longer move because of the build up of frosting all over her body. The Peanut Butter Cup Cookies are a must for Abby. I think that they are the thing she looks forward to most this time of year. I don't kno

If you weren't, please check out the post below to hop around with all of the amazingly talented ladies on the hop list. Now, on to a new project! I love this super cute stamp from Market Street Stamps . It feels perfect for this cold winter weather we are having. I love the fun details that Angelica puts into her stamps, like the lovely tea bag tag that is hanging out of the cup! For this card, the base paper is Twilight from Close to My Heart, the ribbon is some older stuff from Rusty Pickle that I had in my stash, and the baubles are from Making Memories. The inking technique is the blending style that Tim Holtz has so wonderfully been using. I used the Distress Inks Brushed Corduroy, Stormy Sky, Milled Lavender, and Antique Linen. I love how they all blend so well together. If you get a chance you need to check out one of the tutorials on YouTube, like t

Merry Christmas Card

Here is a card that I made using the December kit. I am totally psyched that I am accomplishing so much with this kit. I don't think that I have made this many layouts in a couple of months! This card is super simple (I know I say that a lot, but that's just who I am) and to the point. I find that if I overthink or over do something, it end up on the cutting room floor. Don't forget to become a follower for your chance to win a prize in the Holiday Spirit Giveaway! This week the stamp is the super cute Robo Love from Market Street Stamps . Go on over and visit Angelica's site for the most amazing stamps that you can find. They are a superb quality photo polymer that stamps just like a red rubber. You've got to check them out!!

Tis the Season

Here is another layout that I made using the December Kit. The product that I used that was not in the kit is a Snow Writer by Deco Art to make the icicle fringe. I also thought that the photo would do really well on this layout in sepia. If you haven't noticed, I used the paper left from the last layout where I had cut out the snowflake. I also cut out the words from one of the sheets of paper as my journaling. Hope you enjoy!

Tree Trimming

Here is a layout I did using the December kit I made up for myself. Normally, I make an entire album of Christmas layouts for the year, and I plan on still doing that, but I never usually make one for the girls albums. The paper, I thought, would be perfect for me to start doing that. Everything that I used on the layout was in the kitexcept for the gold ribbin through the button. I used the Winter Woodland Cricut cartridge for the snowflake and I doodled around the two smaller pictures.

December Projects

Well, ladies, I have been so overwhelmed with everything lately, that I have decided to put some monthly kits together for myself. I have so much (s)crap in my room, that I can' seem to get anything done. I enter my room and wander around a little bit, maybe sit at the table, clean up some things, think about what I all want to get done, and then, I end up going back upstairs because I feel this overwhelming sense of dread at pulling some things out. So I have decided that I would pull out some coordinating patterned papers, some matching embellishments and force myself to be creative with that pile. If I feel like it, I will incorporate some other things from my stash into the projects, but I have decided to suck it up and try this out. I will share the list of all of the products that I have put in my self-made kit, and if you have any questions, comments or ideas, please share. All of the items in this kit cost less than $32 . Patterned Paper: Happy Holidays-Echo Park Holly

Holiday Spirit

The last week or two I have not been able to get into the holiday spirit. I don't know why that is, maybe it is the fact that I live in Wisconsin and here at my house we have not had any snow, or maybe that my kids are getting bigger and the whole "MAGIC" of Christmas is starting to fade from their eyes. Whatever it is, I have decided to make my own spirit. From now until Christmas, once a week on Saturdays at 2 p.m. I will randomly choose a follower of my blog to win an awesome stamp set from either Market Street Stamps or Peachy Keen Stamps . That is three chances to win in December!! So, if you haven't done so yet, become a follower and let your friends know about the awesome stamps that they can win! Peachy Christmas

Sorry this wasn't posted yesterday, but I was a lot busier than I had anticipated. Here are some projects I made using Peachy Keen Stamps . The owner, Kathy, is so very talented and she always comes out with the cutest stuff! Don't forget to go to Monday's post and leave a comment and become a follower if you are not already one for a chance to win, win, win a set of Snow Cuties 1 1/8" from Peachy Keen Stamps! For all three of the cards, I used Echo Park's Merry Christmas line. For this first card I used the Lorie and Al Gingerbread Set for the image and the saying is from the Bite Me Ginger set. I also used Peapod twine from The Twinery, my white Signa Uniball pen for the frosting, and Copic Markers to color in the image. The saying and image was stamped using Memento Rich Cocoa. On this next card I used the Bite Me Ginger set again. I used Copic Markers to color in the image, a Spica Pen to color in the heart, and on the frosting areas I used Diamond Sti
