I hope you were all able to hop along with us yesterday for the Queen of Peachy Keen's (Kathy's) birthday. If you weren't, please check out the post below to hop around with all of the amazingly talented ladies on the hop list.
Now, on to a new project! I love this super cute stamp from Market Street Stamps. It feels perfect for this cold winter weather we are having. I love the fun details that Angelica puts into her stamps, like the lovely tea bag tag that is hanging out of the cup! For this card, the base paper is Twilight from Close to My Heart, the ribbon is some older stuff from Rusty Pickle that I had in my stash, and the baubles are from Making Memories.
The inking technique is the blending style that Tim Holtz has so wonderfully been using. I used the Distress Inks Brushed Corduroy, Stormy Sky, Milled Lavender, and Antique Linen. I love how they all blend so well together. If you get a chance you need to check out one of the tutorials on YouTube, like the one here from Jennifer McGuire.
