Today is Your Day, SHINE!!

***Don't forget to check out this post for your chance to win some great blog candy!!***
***There's only a couple days left to enter the sketch challenge over at Market Street Stamps Blog, so go check that out!!***

Hello and welcome to another Saturday Challenge from 365 Cards. Today's prompt is "Sketch from a Card."   Pam asked me to make a card, and her goal was to show you how easy is is to take inspiration from it and draw a sketch.

This card is pretty basic. I took a couple of coordinating patterned papers and found a layering situation that just felt right.
I wanted to incorporate the small scalloped pattern that is in the top most paper, so I used my border punch to emulate that. I wanted the SHINE part of the sentiment to stand out, so I literally made it shine using Glossy Accents.
The flower was cut from a piece of ribbon to make an embellishment, I just chose to spray it with some mists to make it match the rest of the card.
I hope you all enjoy your holiday weekend!!

Card Recipe
Patterned Paper and Sentiment: Authentique Paper {Uncommon}
Fabric Flower: Maya Road
Spray Mists: October Afternoon's Sprinklers {Strawberry}, Tattered Angels Glimmer Mist {Black Cherry}
Border Punch: EK Success {Open Scallop}
