Hello on this beautiful Saturday morning! We are busy, busy around the house getting ready for a birthday party for the youngest little. She is turning 11 and I just can't believe how fast those years have gone by. I tends to make me teary if I dwell on it too long.

But, on to why I am really here.

Today's challenge over on the 365 Cards blog is Two Techniques.

Select any of the two following techniques to use on your card:

sanding, masking, embossing, stamping with ink, shading with pastels or sponging.

I chose to emboss and stamp, though I did do some sanding also, but it is difficult to see in the picture.

Also, I made the tree out of tape by Bella Blvd. I laid it out on a white piece of paper and then cut out a triangle from it. The trunk is stamped with the Joyful Snowman sentiment from Market Street Stamps on some Core'dinations paper (which also makes up the matting) and then the edges were sanded slightly.
