Quite Batty!

Good morning! I hope you are all having a wonderful weekend so far!!
We have been busy {as usual} with multiple swim meets and a wedding going on. You would think that I would be used to the hectic nature of the school year by now, but I swear activities double each year.

I know the old blog here has been quite neglected lately, so I have something special in the works coming up soon to make up for it. I swear you are all not far from my mind!!

Okay, well on to my card for today. Of course it is Saturday, so that means another brand new challenge over at the 365 Cards blog.
The prompt for you to try your hand at today is DIY:
Create your own paper clip or stick pin embellishment.

I chose to go with the paper clip 'cause I tend to use stick pins quite often. I took a regular old paper clip and added some beads to it. {I used black and grey to coordinate with the rest of the card.} To make sure that the beads stayed where they were supposed to, I used crimp beads on both ends.

Here is a close up of the paper clip. I like how it turned out, and it was a great way to use just a few of the many beads I have lying around here!

All of the products I used {except the beads, paper clip, and buttons} on the card today are from Peachy Keen Stamps' September Stamp of the Month Kit club and the Peachy Picks Kit which are both  available now.

Well, I hope you saw something new and have a great day!

Peachy Keen Guest Designer Day 2

Welcome back to day number two!  I am so happy to see you all back here for my Guest Design Team spot for Peachy Keen Stamps . For today's project I will be using the Tuesday Sketch Challenge from the Challenge Blog . I used the Cheers and Green Beer stamp set for my card. I have been so focused lately on Valentine's Day that I have completely blocked out St. Patty's Day! But here is a card to remedy that. I used my Copic Markers to color in the images and used my Spica Glitter Pens for added definition. I am glad to say that I think I am finally getting the hang of these markers. I masked the coins to give a continuous border of them and used a pop dot under the mug of green beer. Don't forget to leave a comment here and at the Peachy Keen Blog for your chance to win the Valentine Cupids stamp set! Thanks for stopping by!!!
