Welcome to 365 Cards' Saturday Challenge. This week our sponsor is Digi Doodle Shop. I chose the Hoot Owl for my card. I was instantly drawn to him, with his big, round eyes. {So sweet!}
So, the challenge for today is:
"Boy oh Boy! Make a masculine card, but add a touch of pink somewhere. It's a color I avoid when make a card for a man or boy in my life, but I think it can be added without making the card too "girly""
In order to keep the colors of the image kind of muted I used the Copic Colorless Blender to pick up the colors from the other markers. I really like how the textures came out with the process.
For my hint of pink, I used some patterned paper punched out with a heart punch that added the perfect splash. Then, for a little more "from the heart" touch I used my own handwriting for the sentiment.
