OH My Stars! for Market Street!!

Hello, all! I hope you are having a wonderful day. Today, I am bringing you a card using Blast Off from Market Street Stamps. This set is so adorable and fun to use. I, myself do not have the pleasure of having any boys, but I do have some nephews who I know will totally enjoy anything I make with this set.
For the background I used, of course, one of my favorite techniques, blending, using Distress Inks. The colors I used were Tumbled Glass, Weathered Wood, Faded Jeans, Broken China and Black Soot. After it was nice and blended I took my Marshmallow Glimmer Mist and sprayed it across the background to give it the Milky Way look. I then stamped and cut out the stars and outlined them. For the rocket, I used my Copic markers and added some sparkle to the flames with an orange Spica pen.
I hope you enjoy!!!

Card Recipe
Stamps: Market Street Stamps {Blast Off}
Ink: Tim Holtz Distress Ink, Momento
Markers: Copic
Glitter Pens: Atyou Spica
Spray: Tattered Angels Glimmer Mist {Marshmallow}

Think Spring Blog Hop!!

Hello and welcome to your next stop on the Think Spring Blog Hop! You should have come from Amanda's blog. If you are just joining us or have gotten lost along the way, please look a the complete list below of all the stops. I can't believe that Spring is upon us already! It seems like winter was just starting {and here where I live it still feels that way} a few days ago, and we were all so caught up in the hustle and bustle of the holidays. One of the things I love most about Spring is the feeling of starting out fresh again! Fresh air, new blooms, spring cleaning, and that renewed energy that comes along with it all. So, in order to start my spring, I thought I might "clean" out some picture albums and get them scrapped. These pictures were taken in 2007! ;O The pictures are very neutral with a hint of pink in them, so I chose some very springy papers and embellishments. My project recipe will be at the bottom of the post in case you are wondering where some of the …

School's Out for Summer Blog Hop!!

What do you look most forward to for summer? Me, I love the time I get to spend with my girls. I love the fact that we can pick up and do just about whatever we want with only a few time constraints. Want to sleep in? We can do that. Want to go to the zoo? We can do that. Want to run through the sprinkler? Well, they can do that while I take pictures.
Welcome to the School's Out for Summer Blog Hop!! I hope you have made it safely from Sarah.
My project for today is a layout of one of our yearly day trips to a local attraction. They have all sorts of rides for all ages, and this year they added their first roller coaster.
The layout recipe will be found at the end of the post. Your next stop on the hop brings you over to Kristin. If you happen to get lost along the way, or have just joined us, you can find the complete list of participating blogs below.

Baby Congrats

Just popping in to share a card I made for my cousin and his adorable wife.
I used paper and decorative tape from Bella Blvd and the Baby Basics set from Market Street Stamps.

The coloring was done with Copic Markers.
It's a real simple but super cute card for their upcoming precious baby boy!
