Core Cards Creative Frenzy!

Hello! I have some fun cards to share tonight. All three are featuring Core'dinations Cardstock.

For this first card, I used the Tim Holtz Kraft-Core Nostalgic Collection. I have a real soft spot in my heart for both Tim Holtz and kraft paper, so this paper is absolutely perfect.

I used the two different Core papers in my Cuttlebug with embossing folders. The die-cuts are from last year's Fancy Pants Oct 31 Collection. I also used a Copic marker to color the white thread in the ribbon to make it a light tan color to more fit the palate of colors in the card.

The second card was also made using the same Kraft-Core collection. The base was cut down and folded into a longer, skinnier card, and then sanded around the edges to give it the distressed look.

The image in the bottle cap was stamped using the Market Street Stamps' set Life is Beautiful {the Honeycomb background stamp is also from Market Street Stamps!} and then punched out with a 1" round punch and Glubered into the bottle cap.

I then placed the bottle cap on to the center of some layered die cuts from Spellbinders.

Both the yellow polka dot tape and the blue strip of paper were folded over and crinkled for some added dimension.

I did not have any coordinating crystal brads, so I took some clear ones and colored them using a Copic marker.

For my last card, I used the Tim Holtz and Ranger Distress Collection. I ran three different colors through the Cuttlebug with various sizes of my Spellbinders' Nestabilities dies and then sanded around the edges of them to get the core to show.

I popped up the Market Street Stamps' sentiment on foam dots.

I hope you all enjoyed the cards as much as I had fun making them!!
