Here is my example: The butterfly is from Peachy Keen Stamps' April Stamp of the Month kit . The sentiment is a rub on from Kaisercraft. The corners for the sentiment were punched with the Stub/Deco Corner Chomper from We R Memory Keepers.

I figured out what is wrong with my camera, and I now need to use it on manual focus only until I either get it fixed or purchase a new camera. I will apologize ahead of time, but my camera has gone into an early retirement, so I am having to make do with a sub. As soon as I can, I will replace my photos with so...

A Blog Hop is a Comin'!

There is a super fun blog hop starting tomorrow with past and present Peachy Keen Design Team members. The hopping fun starts at 6am CDT so do not miss out!!

I Miss You

First off, I would like to apologize for the poor quality of the photo. My camera decided it was retiring without any notice and my sister is borrowing my small point and shoot, so I had to take my picture with my phone. Luckily with today's technology I could still get it into Photoshop and fix it a little. {As soon as I can, I will update the picture.} This card here is for the newest challenge over at 365 Cards . The prompt is 1, 2, 3 Done: Create a card using 1 technique, 2 stickers (I used a piece of washi tape as a sticker), and 3 embellishments. I used the Score-Pal to emboss a some lines as my technique. The label sticker is from Simple Stories Sn@p stickers and the washi tape is from Queen and Co. The three embellishments are from Prima Marketing. I also cheated and added a sentiment to my sticker which is from the Great Big Greetings set from Market Street Stamps. Thanks a bunch for stopping by!!

Christmas in April

Today's challenge over on the 365 Cards blog is Christmas in April. And here is my card: I used my stamp set Ornaments from Market Street Stamps, paper from Carta Bella and washi tape from Freckled Fawn.

Today's challenge over at 365 Cards is Splat: Create a card with splatters. You can use a mist, re-inker, paint  or any other means to make your splat. Have a very Happy Easter!!

Today's challenge over on the 365 Cards blog is On Trend: Nautical: Create a card using the Nautical trend on your card. Here is the card that I made: I used one of the newer sets from Market Street Stamps, Dreaming of the Sea and the Far and Away paper collection from Teresa Collins.

Cheery Thoughts

I am here sharing this fun and bright card that I made using the My Thoughts Exactly set from Market Street Stamps. I think that thought bubble pairs very nicely with the Amy Tangerine patterned paper.  The stars on the card are a newer addition to my stash from Freckled Fawn . I do believe that I have found a small piece of heaven in that store with all of the washi tape and bits that they have.

Baby Congrats

Just popping in to share a card I made for my cousin and his adorable wife. I used paper and decorative tape from Bella Blvd and the Baby Basics set from Market Street Stamps. The coloring was done with Copic Markers. It's a real simple but super cute card for their upcoming precious baby boy!

Spring Chick

Today's challenge over at 365 Cards is Double it Up: Create a card that contains at least three sets of doubles. For my card here, I did 4 sets of doubles. Life is Growth

Here are a couple of quick cards that I wanted to share using the Growth stamp set from Market Street Stamps. I am really missing my craft work lately, so I am hoping to find some time to get down to business soon. I am currently still recovering from a horrible sinus infection that I came down with while on vacation to Walt Disney World, but I hope to have some pictures and projects to share this week.

Lucky Charms

Today's challenge over on the 365 Cards blog is Got Acrylic? Create a card containing an acrylic shape. Don't have one? No problem! Use a shaped embellishment covered with paper. Here is my example using an image from this weeks' sponsor Bugaboo Stamps . I used colored pencils and Gamsol to color in my image.

Hello! I hope you have all enjoyed this past week. Today there is another brand new challenge up over on the 365 Cards Blog .  The prompt is Twine Me Up: Create a card using at least 2 different colors of twine or jute. I used a black and a natural colored jute for my card. I also used images from out sponsor this week, SK Digis . I used colored pencils and Gamsol for my coloring. I love the way it turned out, and I have got to say that it is getting more and more fun using this type of medium!

A Little Something

Today's challenge over on the 365 Cards Blog is Hanging Out: Create a card with an element hanging out off of it. And here are two cards that I made using items that were provided from our Sponsor this week,  Studio -Sara : On this first card the only non Stampin' Up thing is the embossing folder which is from Sizzix. And on this second card, the bling is not Stampin' Up, but from My Mind's Eye.

Thinking of You

I know I have slacking on the blogging lately, but I have a bunch of posts coming up in the next weeks. A couple are ones for design team assignments, but mostly, just because I was able to have some time recently to make things! Here is a card I made at a recent crop weekend: I love this paper from Carta Bella. It is from the Traditions collection and it's so pretty! The stamps are from Market Street Stamps' Growth set. It is really great for any Get Well or Sympathy cards that you would like to send out.

My card was made using stamps by our sponsor this week, DRS Designs .  The paper I used is from My Mind's Eye's Lost and Found 3: Ruby collection. I used the Lipstick Atyou Spica Glitter Pen to color in the hanging hearts and the gem also from Prima. And here is a quick close up of the sentiment. Hope you all have a wonderful day! I am off to a swim meet :)

Nice and small, perfect for a card. The hearts were punched from Crate Paper's Fourteen collection, the washi tape is from Freckled Fawn and the sentiment stamp is from Market Street Stamps' Birds of a Feather set.

A Button & a Bow

The challenge for today over at 365 Cards is A Button & a Bow: Create a card using a button and a bow as the only embellishments. And here is my take on the card: The quote is form the Market Street Stamps Believing Butterfly set and the patterned paper is from Authentique's Renew collection.

Heart in Hand

I am so excited to have a card done, that I actually made without it having to be due for something! Woohoo, yay me!! We are finally getting back to our normal routine in my house now that The Sickness has left. And that means that I was able to get a chance to go down to my craft room and actually do some crafting! So I decided to whip out some of my amazing Market Street Stamps and make a card. Here is the product of said whipping: I used the wonderful images from the oh so talented Kim Geiser's set Love . Her illustrations are just so fun to play with!   That yummy patterned paper is from Crate Paper's Fourteen collection and the embossing folder is by Lifestyle Crafts Sweetheart set . Not to forget the decorative tape, it's from Bella Blvd . Hope you had fun looking today!

Skewed

What a week it has been!! Hope your's has been better than mine! The oldest has had a hacking cough since the beginning of the week, and things just seem to be going down hill from there with fevers and such. Hopefully we can get her seen today and get her some prescribed meds to help her not feel so miserable. That coughing just does not want her to be able to rest! Well today is another new challenge over on the 365 Cards blog with the prompt being  Skewed: Make it where all of the elements of the card are skewed (not straight).  And here is my example:  The patterned paper is from Crate Paper's Fourteen collection and the bling is from various manufacturers. The stamp sets, Funky Herringbone and Birds of a Feather , are from Market Street Stamps. Here is a close-up of the Funky Herringbone. I used Versamark Ink and Ranger Fine Detail black embossing powder to make the background of the Polaroid. I then used Tim Holtz Distress Stains a...

Wiggle It

Good morning! Phew, it's been a whole week since I last posted!! I don't know about you, but my week was certainly filled with a lot. There will be 5 sets in the release, so make sure you check out the site at 8 pm CST! Here is a close up of the pears in action:
