Today there is a brand new challenge over at the Market Street Stamps blog . Angelica has done up a great sketch to get all of those creative juices flowing. Today I have the pleasure of being a Guest Designer for a brand new store called Sweet Stamp Shop . The owner there, Nicole, designs the cutest little whimsical stamps!! I had the pleasure of working with her on a design team in the past, and feel absolutely honored to be working with her stamps right now. Here is the first card I made: I think it turned out to be CAS but adorable! I ended up using this for the neighbor boy's birthday card, and I think it fit perfectly for that use. And here is card number two: Again, I love how this card turned out! I think you can probably tell that for the most part, my cards are all very simple! But oh, so fun to make!! Hello! I hope you are all having a wonderful weekend!! I am looking forward to the wonderful temps that the weathermen are telling us are coming this way.I can't believe we are already to the end of May. School ends this coming week, and I am really looking forward to having that time with my girls. Also, coming later this week is one of my closest friends. Her and her husband will be spending the next two weeks with us while they await their first grandbaby!! So, for this week's 365 Cards Challenge we were given a new prompt word each day, and today's happens to be "light." So, I used an adorable stamp by this week's sponsor, Sparkle Creations . Here is another baby brag book I made. This one was for a close friend who already knew the sex and name of the baby. I added the initials of the baby on the front and a couple of prompts for the type of pictures to be put in, but left most of the pages for anything that they wanted. I didn't use a whole lot of embellishments for this one, except for some bling, acetate shapes, paper, flowers and rub-ons. Hello, and welcome to the third day of sneak peeks for the February release from Market Street Stamps . I am using the set "Slow Movin'." This snail is so cute, I just wanna pinch his/her little cheeks! For stamping the image I used Colorbox Chalk Ink. I love how soft and subtle it came out. First things first, I did not hear back from ShawnfromMN, so I have gone to random.org and the new winner of Robo Love from Market Street Stamps is: Vanessa Yay, for Vanessa! If you could email me at albertsdob@gmail.com I can get your stamp off you you!!! Next, here is a brand new card that I made using Bit of Burlap and Of the Same Tree . I love how this came out! I also used my Copic markers and did a watercolor technique. How I did that was, I colored the stamp with G99 for the leaves and E47 for the trunk. I then used a MiniMister filled with Colorless Blender and spritzed it a couple times, then quickly stamped onto the paper. I love, love, love how the colors in the markers shifted and blended. Even though it was a pain in the rear to clean the stamp off (using the Colorless Blender in the Minimister), I am amazed with the results. Of the Same Tree is the perfect kind of stamp to do this technique. It helps to have more of a solid stamp for the spritz to really move the ...

Here is a layout I did using the December kit I made up for myself. Normally, I make an entire album of Christmas layouts for the year, and I plan on still doing that, but I never usually make one for the girls albums. The paper, I thought, would be perfect for me to start doing that. Everything that I used on the layout was in the kitexcept for the gold ribbin through the button. I used the Winter Woodland Cricut cartridge for the snowflake and I doodled around the two smaller pictures.

Here is a cute little card that I made for a Christmas Card Challenge . I really like the way that it turned out. I am normally a person who will stick with the more traditional colors for Christmas, so this pushed me outside of the box. The challenge was to use light pink, grey, orange and white, not colors that I normally think of this time of year. Hope you enjoy!

Here are two new cards that I have done in the past day. I used Basic Grey's Wisteria collection and various supplies that I had on hand. I am really into distressing things lately, be it using ink or my scissors. The word stamps and ink are from Close to My Heart.
