Hello! Here is the challenge for 365 Cards : So if you saw a card that made you think of the word "sophisticated" what would it look like?  That should be your card. So, when I think of the word sophisticated I think clean and simple yet stylish. How about you?

Hello! So happy you could join me today!! I have my card inspiration for the Market Street Stamps Card Challenge . Along with the sketch there was an added challenge of using a spray mist. The first thing I did was stamp Vintage Notepad using VersaMark onto my white cardstock. I then covered it with clear embossing powder and heated it with my heat gun.  Next, I used October Afternoon's Sprinklers in Lemon Drop and Strawberry and alternated spraying them over the card base. The embossed image works as a resist, and you get a great look! The label is a die cut from Nestabilities Label One onto Bazzill's embossed cardstock, Peek-a-Boo Leaves in white. I then used a yellow ink pad to rub over the raised part of the embossed paper to make it pop a little more.  The rest is self explanatory, or at least I hope so. Hello! I hope you all are having a great long weekend!! We are finally having some nice weather here in Wisconsin. Though it might not be as warm as it should be, I will take what we have right now. For my Market Street Stamps card today, I used the Zebra Print background and Fashionista stamp set. I think that these sets work amazingly well together and are so much fun! To fill in the shoe, I used stickles, and on the yellow Zebra print background, I sprayed some Tattered Angels Glimmer Mist. The fashionista sentiment was stamped with Versamark then covered with embossing powder.

Here is another baby brag book I made. This one was for a close friend who already knew the sex and name of the baby. I added the initials of the baby on the front and a couple of prompts for the type of pictures to be put in, but left most of the pages for anything that they wanted. I didn't use a whole lot of embellishments for this one, except for some bling, acetate shapes, paper, flowers and rub-ons. Can you believe that it is the end of May already? I am so ready for the summer to be here and spend all the time I can with my girls. I love it when they are out of school!! Market Street Stamps has an amazing release this month, introducing images from our very own design team member Nicole Rixon!!! She has this super fun and cool style that will blow your mind! Hello! Glad you could join me today for my next inspirational project for Market Street Stamps ' Sketch Challenge 2. I had a lot of fun with this weeks sketch. Though it is pretty simple as a sketch, there was an added twist to use a background stamp as an embellishment.  Here is the sketch: And here is my card. I used the Woodgrain background and stamped onto some patterned tissue paper, then punched them out with a scalloped circle. I layered then, put a brad through the middle, scrunched up each layer, unfurled them, and wallah! super pretty flower. I then added some bling for some added pop. I then took a scrap piece of the green cardstock and placed a piece of painters tape where I wanted my sentiment to go, then stamped the Woodgrain background on the piece of paper. Finally, I took off the painters tape and stamped the sentiment. Hopefully you can tell, I took my clear glitter pen ans traced over the letters for a little extra sparkle. I love this super cute stamp from Market Street Stamps . It feels perfect for this cold winter weather we are having. I love the fun details that Angelica puts into her stamps, like the lovely tea bag tag that is hanging out of the cup! For this card, the base paper is Twilight from Close to My Heart, the ribbon is some older stuff from Rusty Pickle that I had in my stash, and the baubles are from Making Memories. The inking technique is the blending style that Tim Holtz has so wonderfully been using. I used the Distress Inks Brushed Corduroy, Stormy Sky, Milled Lavender, and Antique Linen. Hello! Hope everybody is having a great start to the new school year. I am completely torn on the issue. I love having my kids home, but I do not miss the shear boredom that they were going through. I have never seen 2 girls so eager to go back to school. Well, here is a card I made using The Girls Paperie collection Paper Girl. I love all of the colors that they used together. The flower on the card was using 2 different sized punches and then getting them wet and scrunching them up, then I put some stickles on. I cannot stop myself from making these flowers. They have become totally addicting, so if you start to get sick of them, let me know and I will attempt to start a 12 step program. Hope you enjoy! P.S. Here are two more cards I have made. I am really getting into this almost all vintage place. I know I need to get a few things made that are more modern, but I am having such fun with this. These two cards are using some paper stash that i have, Sassafras Lass paper (I can't remember which line it is from), Close to My Heart stamps, Tim Holtz Distress Inks, and Prima flowers. The pearl is from Kaiser. I hope you enjoy looking because I really enjoyed making them.

Here are two new cards that I have done in the past day. I used Basic Grey's Wisteria collection and various supplies that I had on hand. I am really into distressing things lately, be it using ink or my scissors. The word stamps and ink are from Close to My Heart.
