So, it's that time again. Time for another giveaway. I have been busy here in Anaheim at CHA working in the Market Street Stamps booth and walking the floor finding lots of goodies for Peachy Keen's Peachy Picks. I have met so many lovely ladies who I have previously only known through web and many new faces too. I do have to say that I am missing my family, but I am also having so much fun here! There are quite a few more coming, but here are a few pictures that I have taken over the first couple of days of the show.  Two new amazing lines from Echo Park and Lori Whitlock. It is another Saturday challenge over at 365 Cards . Today's prompt is 3 S's. Pam has chosen 2 of the S's which are sponging and stickers. The 3rd S is personal choice and I chose stamping.  I used Tea Dye Distress Ink to do the sponging around all of the paper products. The stickers are cardstock stickers from Crate Paper and the stamp, Hello My Friend, is from Unity Stamp Co. I also added a fabric flower from Bella Blvd and some pink pearl bling from Recollections.

I am so ready for Halloween to get here! It is my absolute favorite holiday {what, really???} to celebrate. The decorating, costumes, candy, earthy smells, pumpkin carving, hay rides. You name it, I LOVE it! I know we are still a little over 8 weeks away from it, but I needed me some Halloween fun just a bit early ;) {Not to say that you won't be seeing quite a bit of Halloween and fall projects coming out of my ears.} So here is a card I made using one of the most fun {in my opinion!!} sets from Peachy Keen Stamps . Hello! Long time no see!! Our household has been busy as bees with school and activities starting around here. Hope you all are enjoying this beginning of fall! It happens to be my favorite time of year. Here is a card that I made for the current Market Street Stamps Paint the Town color challenge {formerly known at Color Cue.} And here is the color prompt: I am having so much fun with August's release. {Have I mentioned yet that I love fall?} If you do too, you need to head on over here and check out their stamps. Hello and welcome back to another beautiful day! As I shared yesterday, I have been honored again to be on the Market Street Stamps design team, this time as a Senior Design Team Member. Today I am sharing a project that I made using one of the newest stamp sets, Compass , and one of the first background stamps that Angelica released, Here Comes the Sun . I am of very strong belief in life that everything happens for a reason. And when those reasons really don't seem to make sense, I very firmly believe that you should let your heart be your guide. And that brings me to the tag that I made. Using my Vintage Photo Distress Stain, I coated the background stamp completely a couple of times, then quickly huffed on it to reactivate some of the dried ink and stamped down onto the tag. Though the image did not come out solid, I was very happy with the results. I then used Peeled Paint Distress Ink to stamp the compass into the center of the sun area. I added a small piece...

Hello! I hope you all are having a great long weekend!! We are finally having some nice weather here in Wisconsin. Though it might not be as warm as it should be, I will take what we have right now. For my Market Street Stamps card today, I used the Zebra Print background and Fashionista stamp set. I think that these sets work amazingly well together and are so much fun! To fill in the shoe, I used stickles, and on the yellow Zebra print background, I sprayed some Tattered Angels Glimmer Mist. The fashionista sentiment was stamped with Versamark then covered with embossing powder.

For today's challenge over at 365 Cards I was challenged to use this image for inspiration: What I made was this card: The Rosie the Riveter poster makes me think about the long way that women have come in this nation. We have made great strides in political, economical, and monetary aspects of the US, but there are still a great number of us who struggle with the belief in ourselves. The sentiment I put on the card is for myself, my friends and family, and all of the women out there to remind us that we all have greatness inside, we just need to believe in it. I also decided to use the color scheme for the card. They are so bold and strong, just like us women!! Hello everyone! I am slowly but surely getting back in the groove of things after being on vacation last week. We got the opportunity to go down to Arkansas and visit with some friends and have lots of fun. We were able to dodge the tornadoes that tore through that part of the state, my oldest daughter ran in her very first 5k {she did a great job!!}, and we were able to be there for their annual Toad Suck Daze Festival. But now I am back to the grind, and is it sad at all to say that I really missed work? I LOVE my job!! Anyhoo, here is my card for Market Street Stamps Color Cue challenge of the month. Hello, all! I hope you are having a wonderful day. Today, I am bringing you a card using Blast Off from Market Street Stamps . This set is so adorable and fun to use. I, myself do not have the pleasure of having any boys, but I do have some nephews who I know will totally enjoy anything I make with this set. For the background I used, of course, one of my favorite techniques, blending, using Distress Inks. The colors I used were Tumbled Glass, Weathered Wood, Faded Jeans, Broken China and Black Soot. After it was nice and blended I took my Marshmallow Glimmer Mist and sprayed it across the background to give it the Milky Way look. I then stamped and cut out the stars and outlined them. For the rocket, I used my Copic markers and added some sparkle to the flames with an orange Spica pen. I hope you enjoy!!! Hello, all! I am happy to report that I think I am off of my Debbie Downer slump for the time being. I'm so excited to the kids to get home from school so we can go for a walk. I have been looking forward to it since I woke up this morning! I have been a busy little bee, getting posts ready for this week {I have a full week of them, and I see no end in sight! Is that a good thing or a bad thing? You tell me.} I went made my daily trek to Archivers this morning. {Well, almost daily. They have new stuff coming out of their ears just about each day.} One of my new favorite things that I picked up while I was there {which I got to play with at CHA and couldn't wait til they showed up in the stores} is the new Tim Holtz Distress Stains. Market Street Stamps has really come out with some of the best background stamps in the industry. The fact that they cover a full A2 card, you can see through them so that you know exactly where you are stamping, and the quality only adds to their appeal. Here is a card I made using the new Vintage Wallpaper and Enjoy Today . I really am in love with all things vintage, but mostly with a clean feel to them. Here I used Dried Marigold, Tea Dye, Vintage Photo, and Walnut Stain Distress Inks to blend the background, and then took some Tattered Leather Glimmer Mist and sprayed it and dropped some drips from the bottle onto it. The stamps are stamped with Walnut Stain also. The Tim Holtz die was also blended with the same colors as the background, then I punched two small holes in order to pass the ribbon through, and finished it up with some metal flowers. Here are a couple of quick cards using one of Unity's Itty Bitty stamps. I love using them. They are so cute and you can easily whip up some fast projects or use great detail on them. For today, I used the "Sweet as a Bowl of Cherries." The first one is a 4x4 card. I stamped the bowl onto kraft cardstock and used my Copics and Spica pen, then added the October Afternoon patterned paper. Around the edges of the patterned paper, I used my peircing tool to string the twine through. The second card is a 3x3. Hello, once again! I am nearing the end of my guest designer spot of at Peachy Keen Stamps , and it is making me just a little depressed. But you know what helps me feel better? More Valentine's projects!! The card I made for today showcases the stamp set that I will be giving away at the end of my stint here, Valetine Cupids . I am in love with every one of the sayings that Kathy has put into this set, and come on, the mice are simply adorable! For the heart background paper, I stamped the heart outlines from the set in Versamark then heat embossed them with clear embossing powder. I then took my Tea Dye, Vintage Photo and Walnut Stain Distress Inks and blended them over the paper. The clear embossing acts as a resist, so that the true colors from the background paper stay true. I then used the Tea Dye and Vintage Photo Distress Inks again on the cardstock paper that I stamped my image on and blended them. I stamped the mouse using the Walnut Stain ink, and used my Copics to color...

Hello, ladies! I am very happy to finally post something that I have made lately, that hasn't been required for something. I should be working on things that I do need to get done, but had an idea  i just had to go with. For this card I used the Hearts A Plenty background stamp from Market Street Stamps. I stamped it with VersaMark ink then used clear embossing powder over it. Next, I used my Fired Brick and Vintage Photo Distress Inks to blend over the embossed background, then used the Vintage Photo to ditress ink the edges a little more. I used the Unity Heart Journaling stamp for the heart with Vintage Photo again. The flowers I made with ribbon I had on hand. The red, I cannot remember where it came from, and the cream is from Maya Road. The pins I received in a monthly kit at some point and the leaves are from Prima.
