Friendship is Everything

Today's card for the 365 Cards Challenge prompt is: 1+1= 1 Great Card Select two friends in your life to inspire your card--use colors, patterns,  embellies-anything that reminds you of them. So, here is the card that I made: I chose the color combination because it is one my friend Angelica's favorite. The flower was chosen for my friend Jodi, who also loves the color turquoise and loves to spend her time in the garden. Both of these ladies I would count as my closest friends. I don't mind looking like a fool in front of them and even though we might not talk every day, or sometimes it's just a random text here and there, we can pick up and talk like it was just yesterday.

I used the Storybook cartridge for the window and thought it came out pretty neat. The labels are from Spellbinders, the paper is from Lilybee Design and the bling is from Want2Scrap. I hope you are all getting excited to find out who is on the new Design Team. I know I am, as the suspense is killing me. Knowing the wonderful people that ...

You may have seen it already if you have been over to the Market Street Stamps blog. I am back for another term on the design team as a Senior Design Team Member !!! I am so excited!! Not only do they have some of the best stamps around, but I have the wonderful privelage to be able to call the sweet Miss Angelica one of my friends. We met nearly a year ago at a Copic class and hit it off right away. And, I've got to tell you, she is one of the most gifted artists I have ever met. If you haven't been over to her store or blog go check them out so you know what I mean!! Here is my card for this month's Sketch Challenge for Market Street. I used the flower from Homegrown and the sentiment from Fo...
