Trick or Treat!!

I am so ready for Halloween to get here! It is my absolute favorite holiday {what, really???} to celebrate. The decorating, costumes, candy, earthy smells, pumpkin carving, hay rides. You name it, I LOVE it! I know we are still a little over 8 weeks away from it, but I needed me some Halloween fun just a bit early ;) {Not to say that you won't be seeing quite a bit of Halloween and fall projects coming out of my ears.} So here is a card I made using one of the most fun {in my opinion!!} sets from Peachy Keen Stamps . I will be working on quite a bit of baby projects here in the near future, getting ready for my sister's upcoming baby shower, so I will start sharing those in the next week too! Products used: ...

A Fresh and Springy Card with Market Street Stamps!!

**If you are looking for the Home Decor Blog Hop, please click here .** Welcome to this amazing Sunday! I hope you are all enjoying yours. I am so ready for the warm weather! I am loaded up on shorts and capris, just waiting for the temperatures to get to the point were they are wearable. {Up here in the Midwest, we have been having a terribly long winter.} So, as I am hoping and wishing that Spring finally comes, I made this nice and cheery card to help lift my mood. {This  So Happy  stamp set from Market Street Stamps is one to help lift anyone's mood.} I know it is not really noticeable, but I used the Bit of Burlap background stamp on the base of the card to give it a little more texture and color and the dotted circle stamp from So Happy behind the head of the flower **Make sure you check out the current challenge going on  here . You have the chance to win a  Follow Your Heart  stamp set!! Card Recipe Stamps: Market Street Stamps {So Happy, Bit ...

Think Spring Blog Hop!!

Hello and welcome to your next stop on the Think Spring Blog Hop! You should have come from Amanda's blog. If you are just joining us or have gotten lost along the way, please look a the complete list below of all the stops. I can't believe that Spring is upon us already! It seems like winter was just starting {and here where I live it still feels that way} a few days ago, and we were all so caught up in the hustle and bustle of the holidays. One of the things I love most about Spring is the feeling of starting out fresh again! Fresh air, new blooms, spring cleaning, and that renewed energy that comes along with it all. So, in order to start my spring, I thought I might "clean" out some picture albums and get them scrapped. These pictures were taken in 2007! ;O The pictures are very neutral with a hint of pink in them, so I chose some very springy papers and embellishments. My project recipe will be at the bottom of the post in case you are wondering where some of th...

Peachy Keen Guest Designer Day 3

Good Morning! Welcome back to day number three of my guest design spot with Peachy Keen Stamps ! I want to thank you for all the lovely comments you have been leaving for me. I am so honored to be able to share my projects with you! For my project today, there are lots of photos. I hope this helps in some way, as I am a very visual learner, so I think the more photos the better. I used the stamp set Valentine Sweets for this project. I know I am bombarding you with Valentine's things so far, but I just can't seem to help myself. First, for the larger flower, I started out stamping fifteen of the large solid outline hearts onto one piece of paper and then six of the largest dotted outline hearts onto another piece of paper. (All of the hearts were stamped onto paper from The Girls Paperie.) Then, for the smaller flower, I stamped another ten of the largest dotted outline hearts onto yet another piece of paper and four of the smallest dotted outline hearts onto t...

Peachy Keen Guest Designer Day 1

A sweet hello to everyone out there! I am so excited to be here with you this week. I am completely honored to have been given this opportunity to share some of my projects with all of the Peachy fans out there. For my fist project this week, I thought I would start out with something totally easy, yet so darn cute. I found these heart shaped wooden ornaments at Hobby Lobby, and knew I just had to buy them. They are the perfect size to put the 1 1/8" Wide Eyed Kids faces on. I used paper from The Girls Paperie as the base, then sanded down the edges to blend them smoothly with the wood and for a little distressed look. I then stamped the faces on using Momento Ink and my Signa white pen on the eyes to try to get them to pop a little more. I thought about adding something more to them, but really did not want to detract from the faces, so I left them the way they were. As a treat for you all, Peachy Keen has let me choose a set of stamps to give away at the end of my week here, I ...

Love U

Hello! Hope everybody is having a great start to the new school year. I am completely torn on the issue. I love having my kids home, but I do not miss the shear boredom that they were going through. I have never seen 2 girls so eager to go back to school. Well, here is a card I made using The Girls Paperie collection Paper Girl. I love all of the colors that they used together. The flower on the card was using 2 different sized punches and then getting them wet and scrunching them up, then I put some stickles on. I cannot stop myself from making these flowers. They have become totally addicting, so if you start to get sick of them, let me know and I will attempt to start a 12 step program. Hope you enjoy! P.S. If any of you would like to see something more specific let me know.
