So, it's that time again. Time for another giveaway. I have been busy here in Anaheim at CHA working in the Market Street Stamps booth and walking the floor finding lots of goodies for Peachy Keen's Peachy Picks. I have met so many lovely ladies who I have previously only known through web and many new faces too. I do have to say that I am missing my family, but I am also having so much fun here! There are quite a few more coming, but here are a few pictures that I have taken over the first couple of days of the show.  Two new amazing lines from Echo Park and Lori Whitlock. Hello all! I know, it's been awhile. But I am back with a new card for today's 365 Cards challenge. The prompt this time around is: Imagine This: Starry Skies What does this make you think of? Let that show on your card. The paper I used is from October Afternoon . On the blue striped layer, I coated it with Tattered Angel's Glimmer Glam in Grand Tetons, and then I spritzed it with October Afternoon's Sprinklers in Night Sky. The rocket is stamped using Market Street Stamps ' Blast Off stamp set.

Today's prompt is "Sketch from a Card."   Pam asked me to make a card, and her goal was to show you how easy is is to take inspiration from it and draw a sketch. This card is pretty basic. I took a couple of coordinating patterned papers and found a layering situation that just felt right.  I wanted to incorporate the small scalloped pattern that is in the top most paper, so I used my border punch to emulate that. I wanted the SHINE part of the sentiment to stand out, so I literally made it shine using Glossy Accents. The flower was cut from a piece of ribbon to make an embellishment, I just chose to spray it with some mists to make it match the rest of the card. I hope you all enjoy yo...

Hello! So happy you could join me today!! I have my card inspiration for the Market Street Stamps Card Challenge . Along with the sketch there was an added challenge of using a spray mist. The first thing I did was stamp Vintage Notepad using VersaMark onto my white cardstock. I then covered it with clear embossing powder and heated it with my heat gun.  Next, I used October Afternoon's Sprinklers in Lemon Drop and Strawberry and alternated spraying them over the card base. The embossed image works as a resist, and you get a great look! The label is a die cut from Nestabilities Label One onto Bazzill's embossed cardstock, Peek-a-Boo Leaves in white. I then used a yellow ink pad to rub over the raised part of the embossed paper to make it pop a little more.  The rest is self explanatory, or at least I hope so. What do you look most forward to for summer? Me, I love the time I get to spend with my girls. I love the fact that we can pick up and do just about whatever we want with only a few time constraints. Welcome to 365 Cards ' Saturday Challenge. This week our sponsor is Digi Doodle Shop . I chose the Hoot Owl for my card. I was instantly drawn to him, with his big, round eyes. {So sweet!} So, the challenge for today is:  " Boy oh Boy!  Make a masculine card, but add a touch of pink somewhere.  It's a color I avoid when make a card for a man or boy in my life, but I think it can be added without making the card too "girly"" In order to keep the colors of the image kind of muted I used the Copic Colorless Blender to pick up the colors from the other markers. I really like how the textures came out with the process. For my hint of pink, I used some patterned paper punched out with a heart punch that added the perfect splash. Then, for a little more "from the heart" touch I used my own handwriting for the sentiment. Hope you liked the card today! Here are a couple of quick cards using one of Unity's Itty Bitty stamps. I love using them. They are so cute and you can easily whip up some fast projects or use great detail on them. For today, I used the "Sweet as a Bowl of Cherries." The first one is a 4x4 card. I stamped the bowl onto kraft cardstock and used my Copics and Spica pen, then added the October Afternoon patterned paper. Around the edges of the patterned paper, I used my peircing tool to string the twine through. The second card is a 3x3. Here is a new card that I made using Market Street Stamps . I am having so much fun with these robots! The saying is from the Ain't No Sunshine set and of course the robot is Robo Star . The patterned paper that I used is from October Afternoon. I am working on a bunch of other ideas that I can't wait to share. Also working on a couple of Christmas projects. Stay tuned! Here is another card I made using Market Street Stamps . I absolutely love how it turned out, and so far it is my fave of all. This was made using the Follow Your Heart stamp set. Can't wait to see what else she will come up with! Tomorrow I will share a couple pictures that I took yesterday at the pumpkin patch.
