Hello! I want to share with you today, this card that I made while away at the scrapbook weekend I recently went to. I am obsessed with putting flowers on things, and came up with this tissue paper one. I had a lot of fun making it, and in the following pictures, I will explain the process that I went through. The supplies that you will need are: 1 sheet of regular tissue paper {that you use for gift wrapping} a 2 1/4 inch scalloped punch {my punches are EK Success} a 2 inch scalloped punch a paper piercer a brad some sort of misting spray and a craft sheet {mine is a Ranger one}  1. First you want to accordion fold your piece of tissue paper. I made my folds about 2 1/2 inches wide.  2. Then you want to fold over an end of the accordion folded tissue inwards about 2 1/2 inches.  3. I then slid the tissue paper into my punch and punched it. When I was through with the bigger punch, I cut off the end and folded it over again in order to pun...

So, I took a field trip into town the other day so I could hit all of the craft stores, and I have to tell you, good thing the hubby was out of town. If he saw me walk in the house with all of those bags, my ears would still be burning! So you ask, DoBea, what did you all get? -Fabric remnants, and lots of them. (You will see these pop up pretty soon.) -A new border punch. (Saw it and just had to have it.) -Tim Holtz embellies. (Fragments, masks, metal findings.And I don't think I paid full price for a one of them.) -A small dress form. (Perfect for the jewelry I make. What? You didn't know I did that too?) -A pack of cardstock. (All of my white was gone, so I was in a pinch.) -Two more Tim Holtz Distress Inks. (I only need two more, and I have them all. Do you know how hard it is to find Aged mahogany and Pine Needles?) -A bunch of the new MME patterned paper. (Oh, so YUMMY!) -Echo Park's For the Record paper pack. Here are a couple of quick cards using one of Unity's Itty Bitty stamps. I love using them. They are so cute and you can easily whip up some fast projects or use great detail on them. For today, I used the "Sweet as a Bowl of Cherries." The first one is a 4x4 card. I stamped the bowl onto kraft cardstock and used my Copics and Spica pen, then added the October Afternoon patterned paper. Around the edges of the patterned paper, I used my peircing tool to string the twine through. The second card is a 3x3. Sorry this wasn't posted yesterday, but I was a lot busier than I had anticipated. Here are some projects I made using Peachy Keen Stamps . The owner, Kathy, is so very talented and she always comes out with the cutest stuff! For all three of the cards, I used Echo Park's Merry Christmas line. For this first card I used the Lorie and Al Gingerbread Set for the image and the saying is from the Bite Me Ginger set. I also used Peapod twine from The Twinery, my white Signa Uniball pen for the frosting, and Copic Markers to color in the image. The saying and image was stamped using Memento Rich Cocoa. Here is a tag that I made using some new Market Street Stamps . I think this turned out gorgeous if I do say so myself! I don't know about you, but Angelica's stamps keep getting better as she goes, and that's hard to do considering the amazing stamps she has started with. For this tag I used the Simply Stitched Borders on the bottom. These border stamps are so versatile and SO fun to play with! The saying up on top is a stamp set that will be released very soon. For the actual tag, I used the Tim Holtz Tag & Bookplates Movers and Shapers Die, the Tim Holtz Tattered Florals Bigz Die and bakers twine from The Twinery that I distressed with Frayed Burlap Distress Ink.

Here is a new card using a couple of Market Street Stamps new background stamps. I used Bit of Burlap and Perfectly Pretty Grid . I wanted the distressed look with the Bit of Burlap, so I randomly pounced my ink pad on the stamp, then stamped on the orange cardstock with it. I think it turned it out even better than what I was hoping for. On the green cardstock I randomly stamped bits of the Perfectly Pretty Grid around the edges. And of course the robot is Robo Star , also from Market Street Stamps. The yellow patterned paper is from Cosmo Cricket. The twine up on top is from The Twinery . I totally heart the the colors that they have in stock. I have been using it on just about everything I am making these days. In the close up, I hope that you can see that I used the Atyou Spica markers. It adds the perfect amount of glimmer in the small places. I also used Copics to fill in the star and the area around it and layered the yellow Spica on the star. More projects using Market Str...
