Day 89 365 Cards Challenge

Hello! I hope you are all having a wonderful weekend!! I am looking forward to the wonderful temps that the weathermen are telling us are coming this way.I can't believe we are already to the end of May. School ends this coming week, and I am really looking forward to having that time with my girls. Also, coming later this week is one of my closest friends. Her and her husband will be spending the next two weeks with us while they await their first grandbaby!! So, for this week's 365 Cards Challenge we were given a new prompt word each day, and today's happens to be "light." So, I used an adorable stamp by this week's sponsor, Sparkle Creations . It is called Cupcake Ruby and you can find her here . I have been coloring in my images so much lately, I thought I would take a break and leave it just stamped. For the "light part of the card, I used my glitter pens to color in the flame and make some flare around it. I really don't know what I would do wi...

Bowl of Cherries

Here are a couple of quick cards using one of Unity's Itty Bitty stamps. I love using them. They are so cute and you can easily whip up some fast projects or use great detail on them. For today, I used the "Sweet as a Bowl of Cherries." The first one is a 4x4 card. I stamped the bowl onto kraft cardstock and used my Copics and Spica pen, then added the October Afternoon patterned paper. Around the edges of the patterned paper, I used my peircing tool to string the twine through. The second card is a 3x3. I again stamped the bowl and colored it in using Copics and then just simply wound some twine around the front.  Card Recipe Card 1 Patterned Paper: October Afternoon  {Seaside collection} Ink: Tim Holtz Distress Ink Markers: Copic Glitter Pens: Atyou Spica Twine: Rusty Pickle Card 2 Ink: Momento Markers: Copic Glitter Pens: Atyou Spica Twine: The Twinery

Peachy Christmas

Sorry this wasn't posted yesterday, but I was a lot busier than I had anticipated. Here are some projects I made using Peachy Keen Stamps . The owner, Kathy, is so very talented and she always comes out with the cutest stuff! Don't forget to go to Monday's post and leave a comment and become a follower if you are not already one for a chance to win, win, win a set of Snow Cuties 1 1/8" from Peachy Keen Stamps! For all three of the cards, I used Echo Park's Merry Christmas line. For this first card I used the Lorie and Al Gingerbread Set for the image and the saying is from the Bite Me Ginger set. I also used Peapod twine from The Twinery, my white Signa Uniball pen for the frosting, and Copic Markers to color in the image. The saying and image was stamped using Memento Rich Cocoa. On this next card I used the Bite Me Ginger set again. I used Copic Markers to color in the image, a Spica Pen to color in the heart, and on the frosting areas I used Diamond Sti...
