Heart Compass

Hello and welcome back to another beautiful day!
As I shared yesterday, I have been honored again to be on the Market Street Stamps design team, this time as a Senior Design Team Member. Today I am sharing a project that I made using one of the newest stamp sets, Compass, and one of the first background stamps that Angelica released, Here Comes the Sun.

I am of very strong belief in life that everything happens for a reason. And when those reasons really don't seem to make sense, I very firmly believe that you should let your heart be your guide. And that brings me to the tag that I made.
Using my Vintage Photo Distress Stain, I coated the background stamp completely a couple of times, then quickly huffed on it to reactivate some of the dried ink and stamped down onto the tag. Though the image did not come out solid, I was very happy with the results. I then used Peeled Paint Distress Ink to stamp the compass into the center of the sun area. I added a small piece of patterned from Sassafras Lass, which was punched with a border punch, the sentiment, jute and a button and WALLAH!, a beautiful tag to add to a gift bag, hang as inspiration, or to do any ol' thing you like with.

Beautiful

Hello! It's my day to share a project for the Market Street blog.  I stamped the label from For All it's Worth on the red polka dot patterned paper and cut it out, then on a piece of white cardstock, I stamped it again and cut around the center part. I stamped the Beautiful sentiment from Autumn Greetings  on the white piece and then used Antique Linen Distress Ink and the foam ink tool to color the piece.  The patterned paper is from Lily Bee's This & That 6x6 paper pad. The twine is from American Crafts and the buttons were in my stash.
