I tried my hand for the first time at using Gamsol (odorless mineral spirits) and colored pencils. I have to tell you I had a lot of fun with it! I have a feeling I will be using this technique over much in the future.

I know I have been neglecting the blog lately {end of the school year always gets crazy busy}, but I promise to get back into the swing of things real soon.

Beautiful

Hello! It's my day to share a project for the Market Street blog. I stamped the label from For All it's Worth on the red polka dot patterned paper and cut it out, then on a piece of white cardstock, I stamped it again and cut around the center part. I stamped the Beautiful sentiment from Autumn Greetings on the white piece and then used Antique Linen Distress Ink and the foam ink tool to color the piece. The patterned paper is from Lily Bee's This & That 6x6 paper pad. The twine is from American Crafts and the buttons were in my stash.
